Founder and CEO Matthias Scharvogel started building up the company in 2011 with a handful of knowledged and motivated employees. His visionary ideas, empowering charisma and great network led Element22 to being a technology pioneer and leader for high volume manufacturing.

Matthias worked over 25 years in different positions developing and manufacturing Titanium components with first traditional and then disruptive technologies. He is passionate about Titanium and modern manufacturing technologies.

He is a mechanical engineer and worked in all fields of Titanium Powder Metallurgy since 2004.
